Lindsay Carey, M.A., NCC

Meet Lindsay.

Lindsay Carey earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marywood University in 2025 and is currently working toward obtaining her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential. She previously earned her Bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Lackawanna College in 2020 and received the Social Science Division Award in 2019.

Lindsay has worked in the drug and alcohol treatment and counseling field since 2020. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong passion for supporting individuals and their families in understanding addiction as a family disease—one that impacts not only the individual experiencing substance use but also the family system as a whole.

She has experience providing clinical services across multiple levels of care, including Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) services. Lindsay particularly values her work at Fellowship House, where patients have the opportunity to progress through multiple levels of care within one recovery community. She believes this continuity of care fosters meaningful therapeutic relationships, strengthens peer connections, supports consistent clinical growth, and provides patients with the opportunity to establish a strong foundation for long-term recovery.

Lindsay is committed to creating a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic environment in which patients can develop insight, build effective coping skills, strengthen their recovery supports, and work toward meaningful and sustainable change.
