Maintaining Momentum in Recovery
Fellowship House’s Outpatient Program (OP) offers continued care and support for individuals who have completed higher levels of treatment or who are managing recovery with more autonomy. OP provides weekly counseling sessions—either individual, group, or both—tailored to the specific needs of each client.
This level of care is best suited for individuals with a strong foundation in recovery who benefit from periodic check-ins, therapy, and relapse prevention planning. OP allows clients to maintain connection to their clinical team, remain accountable, and continue building upon the work they’ve already done.
For many, OP is the final phase before complete reintegration into independent living—though support from Fellowship House never has to end.
Program Highlights:
- 1–2 sessions per week
- Ongoing therapy and peer support
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate work/school
- Continued relapse prevention and life coaching
- Family counseling and education available
How does OP maintain clinical effectiveness with minimal weekly contact hours? OP reinforces recovery through focused individual and group sessions that emphasize relapse prevention, accountability, and continued therapeutic engagement.
When is it clinically appropriate for a client to transition into OP care? Clients typically move into OP once they’ve demonstrated sustained stability, insight, and coping skills in higher levels of care like PHP or IOP.
What role does OP play in long-term recovery planning? OP serves as a bridge between formal treatment and full independence, offering ongoing support as clients reintegrate into daily life and continue building recovery capital.
