Meet The Board

The Fellowship House Board of Trustees is composed of dedicated mental and behavioral health professionals and community leaders who share a commitment to our mission of supporting recovery and healing. Their guidance helps ensure that our organization remains grounded, transparent, and aligned with the values that define our work.

Fellowship House operates as a fully licensed treatment center in Scranton, PA, committed to upholding the highest legal and ethical standards. Our facility is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), ensuring every service—from medication management and residential care to outpatient programs—meets stringent state requirements for safety, training, and quality.

In addition, we maintain full compliance with local Scranton public health standards, including fire safety, building codes, and emergency planning. This commitment to licensing means individuals and families can trust that our programs are rigorously reviewed and regularly audited to exceed minimum legal expectations. Our aim is to offer not just recovery, but a trustworthy and secure environment in which healing can truly take place.

At Fellowship House, we pride ourselves on maintaining nationally recognized certifications that reinforce our dedication to evidence-based treatment. Our clinical staff hold credentials such as Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), and Certification in Trauma-Informed Care. We actively participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest advances in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and medication-assisted treatment protocols.

Additionally, our facility adheres to standards from nationally respected accrediting bodies, including CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). These certifications guarantee that every aspect of care—from intake to aftercare—is provided by professionals trained in contemporary, research-backed methodologies. Patients can be confident they are in capable hands.

The Fellowship House team in Scranton, PA, brings a diverse and complementary set of skills to support recovery journeys. Our licensed clinicians—social workers, nurses, and therapists—are experts in delivering evidence-based modalities like CBT, MI, relapse prevention, and dual-diagnosis treatment. But education is just the beginning. Many of our staff are in long-term recovery themselves, serving as Certified Peer Recovery Specialists who guide clients with compassion rooted in lived experience. Our medical team supports medication-assisted treatment when appropriate, ensuring medically complex cases receive attention and care.

Additionally, our staff holds competencies in trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and gender-responsive programming—helping us create healing environments that resonate with everyone, from young adults to veterans, families, and individuals identifying as LGBTQ+. Their collective ability to build trust, adapt to changing needs, and foster community makes Fellowship House not just a facility, but a place where resilience is nurtured and transformation becomes possible.
